What's it all about?
The theft of
Outboard engines has long been an issue for the boating and insurance
industries and one that needed to be addressed.
To that end two of the
biggest names in the UK marine industry, Yamaha Motor (UK) Ltd and
leading boat insurance specialist Haven Knox-Johnston have jointly
announced the launch of a new boat insurance policy Yamaha Marine
Cover Insurance
available exclusively through specialist pleasure craft broker RJP
Marine.

What are the benefits?
The
policy will reward Yamaha outboard owners and in particular those with
engines fitted with Y-Cop where several exclusive feature benefits
apply including:
- Reduced Premiums
- No Excess and no loss of No.
Claims Bonus in the unlikely event of the theft of an engine
fitted with the Y-Cop System.
- New for old outboard replacement
on engines fitted with Y-Cop up to 3 years old
- No Double Excess on
underwater gear.

How often have you wondered why cars are
